DAY 1 – Arrival in Lipari

Arrival in Lipari, transfer to the hotel, meeting with our operators and illustration of the Aeolian tour. Free dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2 Naturalistic excursion to the crater of Vulcano

Breakfast at the hotel and departure by boat to Vulcano, to which the myth of Hephaestus is linked. Once on the island we will begin the ascent to the Gran Cratere 352 m (travel time about 3 hours round trip – low difficulty). Once at the top, you will be welcomed by the acrid smell of sulfur emanating from the fumaroles, a landscape with lunar features and one of the most beautiful views of the Aeolian Islands. In the afternoon, you will have free time to immerse yourself in the mud pool used for thermal treatments or to relax on one of the many black sand beaches. Free lunch. Return to Lipari in the afternoon, dinner in a typical restaurant and overnight stay.

DAY 3 – Panarea and Stromboli tour

Breakfast at hotel. Free morning. Departure by boat to Panarea and Stromboli. Once in Panarea, the most chic of the archipelago, visit the Calajunco Bay, one of the most beautiful of the Aeolian Islands and stop for a swim in the splendid waters of the Zimmari cove. Once at the port, you will have time to stroll through the narrow and picturesque alleys, go shopping and discover the many panoramic views that the island hides. Packed lunch with specialties of Aeolian “rustici”. In the early afternoon, continuation to Stromboli, the island that hosts one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Those who have decided to climb to the top of the volcano will be accompanied by a specialized volcanological guide to the top (At the moment the Climb to the Stromboli craters is forbidden due to intense volcanic activity) Those who prefer to visit the island will have time to discover the charming narrow streets, shops hidden among the white houses and relaxing on the long black sand beaches. Free dinner. At sunset we will reach the Sciara del Fuoco by boat to witness the suggestive nocturnal eruption of the volcano. Late in the evening, return to Lipari. Overnight. stay.

DAY 4 – Lipari

Breakfast at hotel. Day dedicated to the visit of Lipari, between the historic center with its characteristic alleys and the fortress of the castle, the Cathedral with the Norman Cloister. A visit to the Archaeological Museum is not to be missed. Sweet break in the square of Marina Corta where we have planned for you for a tasting of the typical Aeolian granitas or if you prefer a nice cannoli with a glass of Malvasia. Overnight stay.

DAY 5 – Trekking Salina

Breakfast at hotel. Departure for Salina, the greenest island of the archipelago. We will reach Rinella where we will take the bus to reach Valdichiesa. From here we will walk the long path that will take us to the top of Monte Fosse delle Felci, the highest mountain of the Aeolian archipelago 962m (Walking time 4/5 hours – medium / high difficulty). La Fossa is characterized by the classic Mediterranean vegetation, expanses of ferns, maritime pines, patches of heather give way to an almost mountainous landscape full of chestnut trees. The panorama that will welcome you once you reach the top from a sense of unexpected peace, the sea and many small islands around, the silence interrupted by the chirping of birds. Return to Lipari in the afternoon. Free dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 6 – Alicudi and Filicudi tour

Breakfast at hotel. Day dedicated to visiting the most characteristic islands of the archipelago, where time seems to have stopped. Departure by boat to Alicudi, the most pristine island of the archipelago, stop for about an hour in the village where you can appreciate the retro atmosphere and the slow passage of time. The island has no roads but only mule tracks, there are no shops but a small bar facing the sea. In the afternoon continue to Filicudi, visit to the Grotta del Bue Marino, the Canna (the highest volcanic neck of the Aeolian Islands), the rocks of Giafante and Montenassari. Stop on the island and free time to visit the prehistoric village of Capo Graziano and for a pleasant swim. Return to Lipari scheduled for 6.00 pm. Free dinner. Overnight stay.

DAY 7 – Naturalistic excursion to the island of Lipari

Breakfast at hotel. Today the day is dedicated to a nature excursion on the island of Lipari. We will walk together ancient paths immersed in the Mediterranean scrub in search of extinct volcanoes, while the gaze is lost on the horizon on a crystalline sea to admire the other islands of the archipelago in the distance, (walking time 3/4 hours – medium difficulty) . Return to the center of Lipari. Free afternoon. Dinner in a typical restaurant and overnight stay

DAY 8 – Departure

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the port, greetings and departure.

The boats used for excursions are not for exclusive use. The program is purely indicative, for organizational reasons or for adverse weather and sea conditions, the itinerary and the order of the excursions could be changed or reversed without notice. Any renunciation of participation in one or more excursions by the customer does not involve any refund.
